You Complete the Lyrics

Here's something I have wanted to do for a long time. Write the first line, verse of a song and then let others complete. Let's see who wants to play along at home. Here's a verse and a chorus for a song I'm calling Novel Approach. Please add additional verses, bridge, etc. in the comments.

Verse 1
It’s a novel approach, but I’m tearing out the pages, from the story of my life
re-writing the endings, turning the phrases, under the microscope and under the knife
35 years in a circular narrative no suspense all soliloquized thoughts
born in the 70’s, of age in the 90’s, wasted away all the aughts

Chorus:
the chapters are all the same
characters are all that will change
page numbers slowly progress
it’s a novel approach at best
